I know "mint condition" and "in the original box" are the buzz words of the antiques and collectibles markets but really now, isn't being loved to pieces what dolls and teddies are all about?
Thanks to all of you for the nice comments and emails. I'm feeling a little better but am still taking it easy.
Thanks mom, for several nights of feeding my family and seeing they had clean clothes! You too Auntie A. Cheers to dad, fixer of all things, for helping out with the washing machine. Love you all!
Hugs,
Dawn

Hi Dawn, Sorry to hear that you were under the weather, but I'm glad you're on the mend. What would we do without mom to help us out at times. LOVE your vintage suitcase full of well-loved babies!I agree a little love looks good on us!
Debra
So glad you are feeling a little better Dawn.
I love that suitcase full of teddies and dollies ... are you getting it ready to send downunder? LOL!
Actually the doll in the right of the photo (with the painted bald head) reminds me very much of one I had as a child. Is the head really heavy and hard?
Hugs,
Sandi
I'm glad to hear you are on the mend. Keep taking it easy if you can:>)

Hello Dawn, I have been away from bloggin. Sorry to hear that you were not felling well. I hope that you are doing well now. sandi
don't you just love family...always there when you need them...love the photo...
My son has a bald stuffed muskrat. It is nothing but repairs. Yes, "loved to pieces" is infinitely preferable to mint condition!!!
Stay on the mend!
Hi Dawn!
So sorry to hear you have been under the weather...but happy to hear that you are on the mends. Thank God for Moma's and Daddy's to help out in a pinch. Not to mention that the grandkids love the attention.
Love your suitcase of LOVE. They have all been loved and played with, and that is what dolls, bears and toys are all about. Thank you for sharing.
Please stop by and say hi. I love it when you visit. I have a story to share today.
Country hugs sweetie, Sherry

Oh that is a chest full of "oh I wonder who played with or held and loved these babies". I would have to make them all some new outfits and display right back in their trunk. gorgeous. Glad to hear your feeling better! Hugs. Tammy

Sending you a prayer, right now.
Hugs, Barb ♥
We are hoping that you feel better really soon. If you need something and the lovely fam is no where near, I can send Murphy. He could use the exercise:)
Dawn, I'm so glad you're better!
XO,

Hi Dawn,
Glad to hear that you are feeling better. Thanks for popping into my blog and letting me know that you found my tole trays while searching the web! How fun!
It's funny that you mentioned that, because I have been wondering after all of the remodeling is done, just where I am going to put my tole trays and paintings.
Hugs,
Penny
What a great pic!!! Love this idea and would love to do this in my sewing room---as soon as I get rid of more stuff.
Get better quickly! This bug is really going around & I am also surviving it all.
