I had the great pleasure yesterday of attending the Sacramento Antiques Faire with fellow blogger Gloria of Happy to Be. While my mom, SIL and Gloria's hubby Len were tying down some chairs in my brother's truck Gloria agreed to help me draw names for my Pay It Forward Giveaway.
Here is our lovey Gloria now!
I tried to take photos of the names as she drew them but had a hard time for some reason. You can barely see the ink on the paper. I tried from far away, zooming in and the macro setting but it just didn't work out like I planned.
So instead of making you go all squinty trying to read these I'll just let you know that the winners are:
Leslie from The Butterfly Cottage and she chose the Rosters. Leslie is a new blogger who loves a thrifty find and has some very cute kids! Please go by and pay her a visit.
Sherry S. at Design to Shine chose the Pear placemats, which really surprised me because she has the prettiest header with a great old red barn and a blue tractor. I was sure she would want roosters but I was wrong. When you visit her you'll see that she loves a thirfty DIY projects and has some great thrify recipes.
Finally Cindy of Applestone Cottage gets the apples. How fitting is that? She actually said she liked both the apples and the pears but I know she will be tickled with the apples. Be sure to go by her blog and check out the magical transformation her husband did on their garage doors!
Thank you to everyone who participated in this drawing. The winners are asked to Pay it Forward with a giveaway of their own. Leave me a comment when you do and I'll make sure to get it posted on my sidebar to help spread the word.
As for Gloria, don't worry, you will see her again soon. We had a wonderful time and you will see posts from both of us about our day. I know that she is having some power issues up on that mountain top but will hopefully be up and blogging again later today when her electricity is supposed to be back on!
Hugs,
Dawn
